Student Exchange Program

The Student Exchange Program allows students from SWU's partner university to study at SWU for one or two semesters. The credits earned at SWU can be transferred to the student's home institution.

Eligibility

Students need to meet ALL of the following requirements to be eligible to apply:

• 1. Students should be a full-time student of SWU's partner university.

• 2. Need to be nominated by the international office of home institution.

• 3. Need to be able to take classes either in Korean or English. (Korean language classes are available, if you would like to concentrate on learning Korean.)

* Even if you meet all of these requirements, you would not be able to enroll if your visa application is rejected by local Korean consulate.

Application Deadline

- For Spring Semester: By the end of November.

- For Fall Semester: By the end of May.

* Late application can be accepted if there are vacancies in the dormitory.

* Application deadline may be sooner at your home university.

Requirement Documents

1. Application&Essay: A 500-word introduction about yourself in Korean or English

2. Bank Statement (Minimum of US$ 3,000 for one semester, US$7,000 for one academic year)

3. Official English Transcripts of all college work to date

4. Copy of Certificate of Insurance that covers your period of study

5. Copy of passport

6. 3 ID Photos (not including photos on application, 3cm×4cm, white background, ears shown, without a hat)
